Position Overview: The Role
We are seeking an experienced Underground Cable Designer to join our engineering team in Bangalore. This full-time role is focused on the design of underground power line projects using advanced software like Civil 3D, MicroStation, or ArcGIS. You will be responsible for preparing detailed designs and drawings, coordinating with drafting personnel, and ensuring all deliverables meet project standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in finding solutions to complex problems and the ability to lead a team of designers.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed designs and drawings for underground power line projects in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
- Delegate and oversee the workload of lower-level drafting personnel.
- Perform QA/QC reviews of drawing packages, pulling calculations, and construction design packages.
- Coordinate with project engineering and project management teams to ensure timely and quality deliverables.
- Innovate and identify optimal methods to perform design tasks.
- Create plan & profile drawings using Civil 3D or MicroStation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education & Experience:
- A Diploma in Electrical or Civil engineering with 3-4 years of experience.OR
- An ITI in Electrical or Civil with 6-8 years of experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Proven experience in the design of underground power line projects using software like Civil 3D, MicroStation, or ArcGIS.
- Knowledge of underground powerline construction methods is a plus.
- Professional Attributes:
- Proven verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience leading a team of engineers and designers.
- Strong analytical capability and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
